What OperTunity Analyzer is
OperTunity Analyzer is a research tool that analyzes public marketplace listing data — currently from Etsy, via its official Open API — to surface demand, competition, pricing, growth, and market-gap signals, and to compute an explainable Opportunity Score.
Etsy trademark and affiliation
This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc. Etsy is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. OperTunity Analyzer is an independent product, is not operated by Etsy, and does not act on Etsy's behalf. All listing, shop, and review data is retrieved solely through the official Etsy Open API v3 — no screen-scraping or unofficial access method is used.
Not financial or business advice
Every score, signal, and recommendation is derived from public marketplace listing metadata — reviews, favorites, listing counts, pricing — not from actual sales, revenue, or profitability data, which public marketplace APIs do not expose. Nothing OperTunity Analyzer shows should be treated as a guarantee that a product will sell, or as professional business, financial, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on this tool are your own responsibility.
Acceptable use
Use OperTunity Analyzer only for lawful research purposes consistent with Etsy's own API terms of use. Do not attempt to use this product to scrape, bypass, or circumvent Etsy's own access controls or rate limits.
No warranty
OperTunity Analyzer is provided on an early-access, "as is" basis. Demand and growth figures are marketplace signals/proxies and can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Confidence scores describe how much the underlying data supports a given result — they do not eliminate the possibility of error.
Availability
This is an early-access product without a service-level agreement. Features, scoring methodology, and availability may change as the product develops.

The legal entity operating OperTunity Analyzer, its jurisdiction, liability limitations, and a dispute-resolution process have not been determined and are intentionally left out rather than fabricated. This document should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel and completed with real business details before OperTunity Analyzer is offered commercially or to the public at opertunityanalyzer.com.
