What this document covers
This page explains how OperTunity Analyzer handles data today, based on the actual implementation. It is not reviewed by a lawyer and should not be treated as a final legal document — see the placeholder notice at the bottom before this product is used commercially.
Marketplace data we collect
When you run a search, OperTunity Analyzer queries the official Etsy Open API v3 for public listing, shop, and review data matching your keyword. This data — titles, prices, tags, favorite counts, review counts and text, shop names — is public information Etsy already exposes through its API. We store it, along with historical snapshots over time, to power the analysis. We do not scrape private data, and we do not access your personal Etsy account.
Account and usage data
OperTunity Analyzer does not currently have user accounts or authentication. No sign-up information, payment details, or personal profile data is collected because that functionality does not exist yet. If accounts are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before that happens, and it will describe exactly what is collected and why.
Search queries
The keyword you search for is stored so the resulting analysis can be retrieved, re-analyzed, and shown back to you later. It is not used for any purpose beyond running and improving the analysis pipeline.
Third parties
The only third-party service this product integrates with is the official Etsy Open API. We do not sell data to advertisers or data brokers, and we do not currently use third-party analytics or tracking scripts on this site.
Data retention and deletion
Marketplace data and analysis history are retained to support historical growth analysis. A self-service deletion mechanism does not exist yet; if you need data removed, use the contact method below once it is filled in.

The legal entity operating OperTunity Analyzer, a jurisdiction for governing law, and a contact address/email for privacy requests have not been determined and are intentionally left out rather than fabricated. This document should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel and completed with real business details before OperTunity Analyzer is offered commercially or to the public at opertunityanalyzer.com.
